You’ll be joining our Property Claims team as we strive to further enhance and develop the service we offer to our customers whilst building the technical capability of the team. You’ll thrive on being accountable and have your own caseload of major and complex property and business interruption claims, handling these claims from cradle to grave, delivering an exceptional quality and pro-active claims service to our clients and brokers, whilst maintaining and enhancing the Hiscox reputation and brand.

3. Dictating the strategy on your portfolio of claims, demonstrating the ability to make good decisions, delivering exceptional service whilst monitoring accurate reserving and controlling claims spend to ensure the best outcome for us and our customers.
4. Building fantastic working relationships with internal colleagues, Loss Adjusters and other chosen external partners.
5. Taking ownership of stakeholder management, communicating regularly with the customer; the broker; the relevant Underwriter, Property Claims Management Team and the Head of UK Claims.
6. Providing real time Trilogy feedback to our underwriters and wordings team to assist them in management of their own portfolios, risk management and product development.
7. Acting as a senior referral point for colleagues, helping them determine the best strategy and coverage positions on claims outside their authority.
8. Take a leading role in wider coaching, training and mentoring initiatives in the department as we seek to grow and develop our talent.
