Forsyth Barnes are proud to be leading the search exclusively for a leading independent, international, and fully integrated sports marketing, consulting, and media agency.
This role is crucial to the growth of the business and in-line with their expansion plans within the UK.
In this role, reporting to the Chief Client Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and delivery of all client work in the region as well as managing the team day-to-day.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership in the UK and related markets.
* Achieve positive client scores across your portfolio of accounts.
* Develop and execute the business goals and objectives for the UK business, building supportive plans and strategies to attain those goals and objectives.
* Collaborate with segment and functional leads across the group to determine and prioritise work.
* Provide team members and leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve the output of the business.
* Deepen relationships with senior leaders in your clients’ organisations.
* Build and recruit integrated teams to deliver winning, integrated solutions for clients.
* Carefully monitor utilisation, profitability, fees, and scope of work boundaries.
* Be responsible for growing existing business through organic growth across the agency’s portfolio of accounts.
* Oversee strategic business initiatives specific to the UK business from ideation through to completion.
* Identify and solve core issues within business processes and identify and progress business process opportunities.
* Maintain creative involvement in client deliverables and such other duties as may be required by the business from time to time.
You Have:
* 10+ years’ experience working in a cross functional role within a sports marketing agency setting.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sports marketing, management. MBA preferred.
* Cultural empathy and experience of living and working in the United Kingdom.
* Ability to travel within the region and internationally.
* Growth-oriented mindset and focus on leadership to guide and coach the team to find organic account growth through an integrated solutions-based approach.
