A Steel Operative is required for a multi-national steel processing company based in West Bromwich. Operating overhead cranes to move steel around the workplace, feeding the machine lines and loading/unloading vehicles for dispatch.
Duties of the role include;
* Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
* Operating counterbalance forklift trucks
* Helping to load and unload machines
* Loading and unloading vehicles for delivery
* Any other duties as and when required
You will be working on a rotating shift pattern of;
* Monday – Friday 6am – 4pm (1pm finish Fridays)
* Monday – Thursday 6pm – 6am
This role will be;
* Working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities
* Weekly pay whilst on the agency
* Paying £13.09 on the day shift & £14.88 on the night shift
