This post is based at Royal Stoke University Hospital Site, however, you may be asked to provide support at the County Hospital.
The post holder's role will be split between reception duties, administrative support to the senior management team, and working as part of the procurement team. Duties include working with pharmacy staff, using Microsoft Office applications, answering phones, dealing with incoming post and emails, monitoring and ordering consumables in collaboration with the PA/Office Supervisor. In procurement, you will work within a small team to raise orders, liaise with suppliers, review invoices, and credit notes.
The post holder must maintain high standards of professionalism and provide services aligned with the Trust's values and behaviours. Qualities required include punctuality, reliability, a smart appearance, and a professional demeanour.
UHNM is currently unable to offer sponsorship for this role, in line with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as the role does not meet the skill or salary thresholds for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you may apply, but UHNM cannot sponsor at the end of your visa. You should have at least six months remaining on your visa at the start of employment for training and operational reasons.
We seek a cheerful, motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. If you are ambitious and eager to gain more NHS experience, this role within the Pharmacy Directorate requires someone organized, flexible, and adaptable to a busy schedule. You should work calmly, logically, and methodically, be able to multitask and handle interruptions, and possess effective communication skills. The ability to work independently and basic education including RSA Word Processing is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Experience in minute-taking would be advantageous.
