Role: Lead Tender & Contract Specialist
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid working 3 days home & 2 days office)

Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate all Tender & Contract (T&C) activities, setting priorities, managing capacity, and driving consistent, high‑performance delivery.
* Own the full end‑to‑end tender lifecycle, from pre‑tender initiation through submission, evaluation, and post‑tender analysis.
* Define and implement tender strategies, frameworks, and best practices to optimise quality, compliance, and win rates.
* Provide strategic insights through KPI tracking, data‑driven analysis, and quarterly performance reporting to leadership.
* Partner closely with Sales, local markets, and the EMEA organisation to support tender execution and cross‑regional alignment.
* Ensure robust pre‑tender management, including stakeholder engagement, tender boards, and informed go/no‑go decisions.
* Oversee contract drafting, review, approval, and lifecycle management, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.
* Monitor tender legislation and audit requirements, ensuring full regulatory compliance and timely audit responses.
* Drive continuous improvement through training, best‑practice sharing, process optimisation, and performance review.
Qualifications
* Ideally degree educated in Business, Law, or another relevant discipline.
* Proven experience in tender management, preferably within the life sciences or healthcare sector.
* Strong project management and process development expertise, with the ability to deliver complex tenders on time.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse personalities and functions.
* Solid understanding of tender legislation, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Salesforce.com. Ability to prioritise workload and effectively manage time.
