As a CNC Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of specialist Mill-Turn Machines across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join an expanding team as they enhance their service offerings to ensure their support matches the superior quality of their solutions. The Role of Field Service Engineer:
To provide Machine Tool Service support to a range of engineering and manufacturing customers in the UK.
1. Undertake an initial training period in Europe to gain specialist machine knowledge and skills development.
2. Develop & maintain working relationships with current customers
3. Provide technical support and service to customers, including fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of the machinery range.
4. Plan, communicate, and report on service work, ensuring timely completion and professional customer handovers.
5. Coordinate with UK office and overseas colleagues for scheduling, technical support, and spare parts logistics.
6. Complete service documentation (reports, RAMS, expenses, and other required records) accurately and on time.
7. Maintain company vehicle, tools, IT equipment, and branded professional image.
8. Work independently and as part of a team, upholding high standards of customer service and professionalism.
9. Attend training and development sessions, including UK and occasional international travel.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - CNC Service Engineer:
10. Holds a HNC-level mechanical engineering qualification/certifications or similar
11. Must have experience building, servicing, maintaining, or installing machine tools/ CNC mills or lathes
12. Experience working with Siemens or Fanuc controls
13. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
14. Willing to travel and stay away from home for training when the role requires
15. Ability to work & communicate professionally at customer's premises
16. Must live in and have the right to work in the UK
17. Full clean UK driving licence
Salary/Package: CNC Service Engineer
18. Salary £50,000 DOE
19. Holidays 25 days per annum plus National Bank Holidays
20. Company Vehicle supplied and fuel card
21. Death in Service
22. All expenses paid when travelling

24. Door-to-door travel
25. Enhanced overtime rate x1.5 times hourly rate (OTE £65k-£70k)
