Job Summary
North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Trust – Specialist Pharmacist Community Services, Band 7.
Up to 37.5 hours per week, working across Community Hospital Sites in West Cumbria.
We provide clinical pharmacy services to community hospitals across West Cumbria within a supportive environment.
Key Duties
* Deliver high‑quality clinical pharmacy services to patients.
* Work collaboratively with Medicines Management Technicians and pharmacists.
* Work independently while receiving support from experienced pharmacists.
* Participate in on‑call duties and a 7‑day working commitment.
Person Specification
Knowledge
* Broad clinical and pharmaceutical knowledge.
* Relevant specialist knowledge.
* Understanding of current issues within pharmacy and the NHS.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Computer literate.
Experience
* Experience or knowledge of acute/ community hospital pharmacy work.
Qualifications
* MPharm or equivalent.
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Completion or near completion of a postgraduate clinical qualification and/or significant relevant clinical experience.

* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Critical appraisal skills to make judgements from conflicting data.
* Time, people and resource management skills.
* Organise and prioritise workload.

Additional Requirements
* Ability to travel between sites as required.
* Participation in Trust‑wide out‑of‑hours on‑call service.
* Participation in 7‑day working rota.

Pay and Contract
Band 7, Salary £47,810 – £54,710 per annum (pro rata).
Permanent contract. Full‑time or part‑time. Agenda for Change pay scheme.
