Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness in our lovely Care Home, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including residents' rooms, communal areas, and staff rooms.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Assist with inventory of cleaning supplies and completing order.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with residents.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and to cover holiday and sickness.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
