Hourly rates inclusive of holiday pay:
Examination Invigilator - £14.13 per hour
Amanuensis (Scribe) - £16.68 per hour

Support Student Success at our Bognor Regis and Chichester Campuses
Are you calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting students with additional needs? We are looking for reliable and professional individuals to join our dedicated team of part-time hourly paid Exam Invigilators and Amanuenses (Scribes).
In this rewarding role, you will help create a supportive and structured environment where students can perform at their best during exams. You will work across our Bognor Regis and Chichester campuses, depending on need, during scheduled exam weeks in January, June, and August (weekdays only).
What You’ll Do:
1. Provide a calm and focused atmosphere for students during exams.
2. Act as a scribe or invigilator, depending on the student’s individual requirements.
3. Follow exam procedures precisely and professionally.
4. Communicate clearly and sensitively, adapting to each student’s needs.
5. Work independently or collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth exam delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
6. Confidence using Microsoft Word and general IT systems.
7. Excellent attention to detail, even under pressure.
8. A professional, organised approach and strong communication skills.
9. Flexibility and reliability during exam periods.
