My client is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our Manchester-based internal IT team, supporting users, colleagues and developing technical skills in a collaborative, people-first environment. The team offers a supportive environment with clear opportunities for progression and development for the right person.
What you’ll be doing…
* Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for day-to-day issues relating to hardware, software, desktops, and user access.
* Troubleshoot and support Windows OS, Microsoft 365, printers, and general desktop environments.
* Support users remotely and onsite.
* Escalate and assist with more complex issues relating to software, desktops and hardware.
What we’re looking for...
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active directory and basic networking.
* Previous experience in a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support role (internal IT or MSP environment).
* Someone who is keen to learn, develop and grow technically.
* Positive can do attitude.
