Commercial & Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer – 3+ PQE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Accredited Chartered Legal Executive to join a busy and supportive Commercial & Residential Property team.
This role offers the chance to handle a varied caseload of both commercial and residential property matters within a collaborative and dynamic working environment. The successful candidate will work with a broad client base including landlords, tenants, developers and investors, providing expert legal advice across a wide range of property transactions.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters
* Handling acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord & tenant matters
* Advising clients on all aspects of commercial and residential property law
* Drafting and negotiating leases, tenancy agreements and related legal documentation
* Conducting property due diligence and advising on property transactions
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
* A minimum of 3 years PQE within Commercial and Residential Property
* Experience handling a varied caseload including:
o Property transactions
o Leases
o Landlord & Tenant matters
o Property disputes
* Strong working knowledge of property law and current market developments
* Experience using Case Management Systems, Laserforms and the Land Registry Portal (essential)
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* Strong negotiation and organisational abilities
* A proactive and commercially minded approach
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
* Experience managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience within a CQS accredited firm
* Experience using Infotrack
* Exposure to high-value property transactions or complex landlord & tenant matters
* Knowledge of planning, development or property finance matters
