It is essential in this role to have sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and have experience within a SEN, Complex needs, ASC school Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons across primarysubjects, with adaptations for SEN needs. Applying trauma-informed approaches that acknowledge the impact of adverse experiences on learning and behaviour. Monitor and assess students' academic progress, adapting approaches to meet individual needs. Promote emotional well-being, resilience, and independence; adhere to all safeguarding policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, behaviour, and interventions. Requirements : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching primary students, preferably within SEMH, SEN, or alternative education settings. Strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective strategies to support vulnerable learners. Excellent behaviour management skills and patience.
