Job Title: Assistant Site Production Chef

Role Overview
This is a key supervisory position responsible for the day-to-day food production and compliance of the production kitchen at Robert Kett Court.
The Assistant Site Production Chef will ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and consistent food production and foster a culture of Compliance, Quality and Consistency (CQC) within the team.
The role will also involve deputising in the absence of The Site Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Food Safety, Compliance & Quality
* Ensure the timely completion of all daily, weekly, and monthly HACCP and production documentation.
* Deputise in the absence of the Site Production Manager.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company standards.
Operations
* Lead on the daily food production at Robert Kett Court for Housing with Care schemes and NHS meal services, under the direction of The Site Production Manager.
* Ensure adherence to recipes and procurement processes using authorised buying lists in line with production plans.
* Ensure no products leave the site until all CQC checks have taken place.
* Play an active role in Daily Kitchen Team Briefings and lead on these in the absence of The Site Production Manager.
Audits, Monitoring & Improvement
* Support with monthly Audits and ensure any corrective actions are implemented, monitored ongoing.
* Report and maintenance issues immediately to the Site Production Manager.
* Report any changes in recipes to The Site Production Manager and in their absence the Operations Manager.
Administration & Reporting
* Ensure company systems are used, including recipe documentation and site records.
* Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of business operations.
* Support the implementation of budgets and financial controls; attend monthly finance meetings with the CEO and Operations Manager.
* Participate in monthly 1:1s with the Site Production Manager to support your on going development.
