About the Role:
As part of the SEN School Care team, you’ll play a vital role in helping students access learning and develop essential life skills. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being and independence of those in your care.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Support students with communication and emotional regulation.
* Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required.
* Work alongside teachers and therapists to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
* Build strong, positive relationships with students to encourage confidence and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to care and support.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant qualifications in SEN or therapeutic support (advantageous).
To work with GSL Education in SEN School Care, you should:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
