Role Overview: The Inventory Controller manages materials and stock levels to ensure seamless production. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory accuracy, monitoring supply levels, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting production by ensuring material availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stocktakes.
* Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of raw materials and components.
* Track material usage and wastage, report discrepancies.
* Coordinate with procurement for timely ordering.
* Forecast material requirements with production staff.
* Implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency.
* Use inventory management systems to track and report stock levels.
Requirements:
* Experience in inventory control or storekeeping, preferably in manufacturing.
* Knowledge of aluminium joinery materials is desirable.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with inventory software (e.g., MYOB, SAP, Fishbowl).
* Ability to collaborate across departments.
* Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
