Join the RSC as an Estates Administrator (Part-Time, Morning Role)
Are you interested in an engaging role with the Royal Shakespeare Company? Do you excel in customer service, managing a busy workload, and possess strong administrative skills? We are seeking a part-time Estates Administrator to work mornings at our reception at 39 Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon.
In this role, you will:
1. Welcome visitors and staff, providing top-level customer service to all building users and visitors.
2. Manage incoming phone calls, ensuring effective communication.
3. Support health, safety, and security protocols within the building.
4. Provide administrative support to the facilities team.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your key responsibilities include (please see the full job description and person specification for details):
* Supervising the reception area and occasionally the RST Stage door.
* Promoting the Royal Shakespeare Company brand through excellent service.
* Handling public inquiries professionally and efficiently.
* Participating in evacuation procedures and liaising with fire wardens.
* Administering staff passes, photographs, and access systems in support of Building Access Policy.
To be suitable for this role, you should have:
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively via radio during emergencies.
This is a fixed-term position for 6 months, based in Stratford-upon-Avon. The part-time hours are 25 per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 1 pm. There may be opportunities to support the Stage Door team with additional hours.
