BE THE ENGINE: Traffic Operator (Logistics & Profit) | Start in Two Weeks!
The Role: Your Chance to Drive Success at Pro Logic
Are you ready to stop just scheduling and start driving the profitability of a major fleet? We're looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Traffic Operator to join our dynamic team at Pro Logic. This is an immediate-start role (as soon as two weeks for the right candidate) where your organizational skills and keen eye for detail will directly impact our bottom line.
If you thrive under pressure, treat compliance as priority number one, and view cost control as a challenge to conquer, we want to hear from you.
The Financial Package & Perks
Salary: Highly competitive range of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Perk: Genuine scope for a company car for the right high-performing candidate.
Start Date: Immediate start available.
What You'll Be Doing (The Core Mission)
You will be the central pivot point, ensuring every truck, driver, and container movement is efficient, legally compliant, and profitable.
Profit & Efficiency Focus:
Cost Control Master: Actively manage and reduce operational costs, from parking to nights out.
Revenue Optimization: Hunt for efficiency gains by scheduling smarter one-way, tip, and reload options to maximize truck earnings.
Asset Protection: Oversee container movements to ensure zero detention fees and timely exports.
Compliance & Management:
Driver Leadership: Act as a firm but fair point of contact, managing driver timesheets, coordinating weekend overtime, and ensuring all training is up-to-date.
Regulatory Shield: Guarantee 100% legal compliance on all fronts, including vehicle weight limits, H&S standards, and maintaining service/MOT schedules.
Real-Time Data: Use our Truckcom system to monitor ETAs, issue late advisories, and log critical compliance data (ATA/ATD numbers).
Are You The Right Fit?
We're not looking for someone who just pushes buttons—we need a leader and a problem-solver who can handle the pressure of real-time operations. You must have:
Proven experience in fleet operations, scheduling, and driver coordination.
In-depth knowledge of transport regulations (working hours, vehicle maintenance, demurrage policies).
Proven leadership skills with the ability to build effective relationships while demanding high standards of system compliance (Truckcom experience is a major bonus).
A quick decision-maker attitude, capable of handling unexpected delays and issues efficiently.
