Job Overview Novatus Global are seeking a versatile, skilled, and experienced Senior Manager to lead the delivery of complex strategic and transformation engagements across Financial Services. Working closely with senior leadership and client stakeholders, you will take full ownership of client engagements, shaping, delivering, and embedding practical, high-impact solutions across strategy, operations, risk, compliance, and technology-enabled change. As a Senior Manager, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading multiple workstreams or programmes, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, and driving measurable business outcomes. You will bring deep expertise in strategy and operations, with a particular focus on Target Operating Model (TOM) design and end-to-end business transformation delivery. In addition to client delivery, you will play a key role in growing client accounts, identifying and validating new opportunities, and contributing to strategic account development. Internally, you will help shape the firm’s culture, lead people development, and contribute to strategic initiatives that support the continued growth of Novatus Global. Key Responsibilities Client Delivery & Engagement Ownership
Own end-to-end delivery of projects and programmes, managing scope, timelines, commercials, and senior client stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and leading complex transformation initiatives. Lead the design and implementation of Target Operating Models (TOM), ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and delivering tangible business outcomes. Drive large-scale business transformation programmes across strategy, operations, and technology. Conduct detailed business analysis, process reviews, and diagnostics to identify opportunities for optimisation and transformation. Translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable execution plans and roadmaps. Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and embedding of change. Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and opportunities across engagements.
Strategy & Operations Expertise
Apply deep expertise in strategy and operations to support clients in solving complex business challenges. Develop and deliver transformation roadmaps aligned to market dynamics and organisational priorities. Lead assessments across processes, governance, technology, and organisational design. Utilise data-driven insights to inform recommendations, business cases, and decision-making.
Business Development & Account Growth
Build strong client relationships and actively contribute to account growth. Identify, validate, and shape new opportunities within existing client accounts. Contribute to the development and execution of strategic account plans alongside firm leadership. Support and lead proposal development, client pitches, and thought leadership initiatives.
Leadership & People Development
Lead, coach, and mentor Managers and junior team members, supporting their professional development. Provide formal performance feedback and foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture. Actively contribute to building the next generation of leaders within the firm.
Internal & Cultural Contribution
Lead and contribute to internal initiatives (e.g., Learning & Development, market insights, innovation, thought leadership). Support the development of the firm’s culture, values, and ways of working. Contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and delivery approaches.
About You
7+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, or in-house transformation roles. Strong track record of owning and delivering complex projects and programmes within Financial Services. Demonstrated expertise in strategy and operations, target operating model (TOM) design and implementation and business transformation delivery. Experience in project and programme management, including roadmap definition, milestone tracking, and RAID management. Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and operate as a trusted advisor. Experience in business development, including identifying opportunities and contributing to account growth. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive insights. Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualisation tools.
