Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Portsmouth & Southampton
Salary:Up to £49,000 (DOE).
£1,000 joining bonus
Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week.

Were seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team. Youll work across Portsmouth & Southampton, delivering planned and reactive maintenance, working on mechanical systems such as gas appliances, oil appliances, pumps, hot and cold-water systems, and other mechanical services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and hot/cold water systems
* Diagnose faults and carry out remedial work
* Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota
* Ensure safe working practices and liaise with site staff
* Escalate issues and complete electronic documentation
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical discipline or equivalent
* Commercial/Domestic Gas Certifications (e.g. CCN1, CODNCCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 and CORT1.)
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to use SMART devices
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Oil and LPG qualifications (e.g. OFT10-101, CONGLP1PD)
* Unvented water systems & electrical safety training
* Experience in similar roles and sectors
