Key Responsibilities
* Supporting students’ learning
o Helping individuals and small groups understand lesson objectives.
o Reinforcing instructions given by the teacher
o Providing extra support to students who need it, including those with learning differences or language needs
* Classroom support
o Assisting with classroom organization and routines
o Preparing learning materials and resources
o Helping maintain a positive, focused learning environment
* Working with the teacher
o Collaborating on lesson activities
o Sharing observations about student progress or challenges
o Supporting assessment activities, such as monitoring participation or collecting work
* Behavior and inclusion support
o Encouraging positive behavior and engagement
o Supporting social and emotional development
o Helping ensure all students feel included and supported
Skills and Qualities
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, empathy, and adaptability
* An understanding of child development and learning strategies
* Ability to follow guidance while also using initiative when appropriate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
