As HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting learning across the curriculum, leading small group sessions, and stepping in for whole-class teaching when needed. Key Responsibilities Support the planning and delivery of lessons across multiple year groups Lead targeted group interventions and whole-class sessions when required Assist in tracking pupil progress and providing feedback Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual learning needs ✅ What We’re Looking For HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent) Proven experience in a primary school setting Strong understanding of the National Curriculum Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team ⭐ Desirable Skills Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. autism, dyslexia, speech and language needs) Confidence using educational technology to enhance learning A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to varied classroom situations Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
