Responsibilities

* Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and manage meal preparation effectively.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
* Assist in training junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
* Adapt recipes and menus based on seasonal availability of ingredients or dietary restrictions of guests.
Experience
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
* Previous experience serving meals in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
