Job Overview
Otis is seeking an Installation Engineer to safely install elevator units. The priority is passenger and stakeholder safety through quality installation.
Responsibilities
* Install new elevators with quality and efficiency.
* Work safely in accordance with Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
* Stay overnight as required.
* Liaise directly with customers on site to build good working relationships.
* Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Qualified mechanic with knowledge of elevator equipment.
* Ability to apply elevator engineering principles to installation.
* Minimum 6 months experience in elevator assembly or on‑site installation.
* Good electrical and mechanical skills.
* Comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
* Appetite for technical products and new technologies.
* Appreciation for manual trades and satisfaction of seeing finished work.
* NVQ3 level installation qualification.
* Driver’s license.
