Our team in AXA Health are excited to bring to market a newly created role as Performance Marketing Lead. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, you'll play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth through innovative digital strategies. Leading a team of 5 digital marketing specialists youll be responsible for delivering measurable outcomes across acquisition, engagement, and conversion channels. This dynamic role combines data-driven decision making, customer-centric digital optimisation, and commercial performance to ensure our digital activities create real value for customers, intermediaries, and the business. Youll translate strategic objectives into impactful execution, aligning teams to achieve outstanding results and continuously enhance digital effectiveness across Marketing and Customer Experience. Location & Working Arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. Youll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at our office location in Tunbridge Wells, visiting clients or attending industry events. Were also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
What youll be doing
* Own digital performance across key customer journeys, with a primary focus on acquisition, engagement and conversion.
* Translate business growth ambitions into clear digital performance plans, KPIs and targets.
* Learn, understand and adapt to the quickly changing impact of AI on performance and develop a plan to stay ahead.
* Lead a test-and-learn culture across digital channels.
* Use data, analytics and insight to identify growth opportunities, diagnose underperformance and prioritise action.
* Drive continuous optimisation of digital journeys using insight, experimentation and performance data.
* Establish review cadences for performance materials to support decision-making and accountability.
* Drive CRO, SEO hygiene, experimentation, and UX improvements to optimise performance across customer journeys.
* Lead, motivate and develop a team of performance marketing specialists.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record driving SEO/GEO and paid digital channel improvement, and understanding the interplay of Brand through to Performance channels.
* Experience in a senior leadership role with direct reports.
* Confidence operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with the agility to turn decisions into action quickly and effectively.
* Naturally curious mindset, with a constant drive to seek out new knowledge, better ways of working, and innovative solutions.
* Experience in financially regulated environments is preferred.
* Customer-led approach that designs journeys that are intuitive, simple and valuable.
* Ability to collaborate across disciplines, working closely with senior leadership, paid media specialists, creative teams, and sales and marketing functions.
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear performance narratives, insight and recommendations.
