This is a pivotal role, responsible for shaping high-value, compliant, and compelling bid submissions that reflect both the commercial goals and core values of the business.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Lead the end-to-end bid process, from strategy and planning to submission and post-bid analysis.\n\n * Manage and develop a dedicated bid team including writers, designers, and coordinators.\n\n * Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment of bids with business objectives.\n\n * Review and edit proposals to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and client focus.\n\n * Build and implement a best-in-class bid process, learning from each tender to drive continuous improvement.\n\n * Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and client needs to shape winning strategies.\n\n * Act as the main point of contact with procurement teams and clients, confidently leading presentations, negotiations, and competitive dialogue sessions.\n\n * Interpret and respond to complex tender specifications to ensure full compliance and competitive positioning.\n\n * Conduct industry and client research to inform proposal content and approach.\n\nCandidate Profile\n\n * Demonstrable success as a Bid Manager or Head of Bids in FM, soft services, or related sectors.\n\n * Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary bid teams.\n\n * Exceptional project management ability with a structured, detail-oriented approach.\n\n * Commercially astute with the ability to balance cost, compliance, and competitive advantage.\n\n * Skilled in influencing and collaborating across departments and at all stakeholder levels.\n\n * Confident communicator with excellent presentation, negotiation, and writing skills.\n\n * Strategic thinker with the ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the bid process.\n\nPay: Circa £70,000.00 per year, dependent on experience\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Company events\n\n * Bonus Scheme\n\n * Referral programme\n\n * + more\n\nSchedule:\n\n * Monday to Friday\n\n * Hybrid working – (Leeds area)
