Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Duties: Supporting the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students Helping to manage challenging behaviour and promoting positive behaviour management strategies Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the overall development of students with SEN Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Education: Relevant qualifications in Education or Special Educational Needs Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly Knowledge of SEN conditions and strategies to support students with diverse needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Training in safeguarding children Working Conditions: Work in a school setting, assisting in classrooms and other learning environments Potential exposure to challenging behaviour from students with SEN Regular collaboration with teachers, parents, and external professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
