About The Role Are you an experienced Hiab Driver looking for your next opportunity? Pump Rental Solutions are looking for a Class 1 Hiab driver to join the team at our busy Chandlers Ford branch. This role covers Monday to Friday 40 hours per week including nights out in the vehicle. Who you will be? You will be working very closely alongside our installation teams on large projects, being involved in all aspects of an installation as well as loading up your vehicle and delivering materials to site. You will be trained with our installations team to provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to be successful. This would suit someone who is looking for more than a driving role and happy to get stuck in within a team. You must be comfortable with nights away, with nights out in the cab as this is a requirement for this role. It is essential that you hold a valid CE Licence and have previous experience using a Hiab. Responsibilities: * Full compliance with Tachograph operation and driver's hour's legislation. * Carry out a risk visual assessment prior to loading and unloading activity takes place. * Ensure all loading and unloading activity is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. * Carry out daily maintenance and defect checks of the vehicle. * Vehicle Interior and exterior to be cleaned and swept out weekly so that vehicle is clean and presentable at all times. * Ensure all items and quantities are matched to Branch paperwork. * Maintain excellent internal and external customer relations. * Communicate accurately to your immediate supervisor, work colleagues and customers regarding certain job specifications. * Obtain signatures when delivering and collecting. * Comply with all PPE requirements either by Selwood or specific customer site regulations. * Carry out any specific tasks as detailed by your immediate supervisor in accordance with the Company Policies and Procedures Including working alongside the Installations team onsite assisting the installations. Qualifications & Experience: Essential * Full CE Class 1 Driving Licence * Digital Tachograph Driver Card * Driver Qualification Card * Hiab Licence (Grab) * 2 years experience in a similar industry * Over 21 years of age (for insurance purposes) * Compliant with statutory medical standards for HGV and able to climb up onto lorry bed and to ensure secure loading and strapping down of load.
