Job Description
3. Creating accurate and engaging social media content, including writing and designing graphics and visuals, in accordance with brand and other relevant guidelines.
4. Managing social media posts through Orlo and preparing materials for the Mayor's personal channels.
5. Organising a social media rota, including out-of-hours coverage, with a willingness to participate in the schedule.
6. Monitoring social media channels to identify posts that may breach guidelines or pose legal or other risks.
7. Responding swiftly in a busy environment with tight deadlines, working collaboratively to produce social media content for campaigns and reactive needs.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Digital Media Officer should have:
8. A degree in Marketing, Digital Media or relevant field.
9. Proven work experience as a Digital Media Specialist.
10. Excellent knowledge of different digital media platforms and best practices.
11. Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
12. Excellent analytical and project management skills.
13. Strong team working and communication skills.
