Role Overview:
* Ensure timely production of accurate management accounting data and reports.
* Supervise credit control process.
* Produce quarterly VAT reports.
* Prepare monthly nominal ledger account validations and reconciliations.
* Prepare accurate WOC reports.
* Ensure the continuing training and development of self and team members.
* Manage day-to-day activities of the Administration team.
* Assist in recruitment, selection, development, and performance management of your team members.
* Hold regular colleague briefings, maintaining engagement and communication in your team.
* Liaise with non-financial managers to ensure understanding and aid in the production of branch accounts and cashflows.
* Maintain proper books of account.
* Supervise branch banking and petty cash.
* Ensure the maintenance of the branch fixed asset register.
* Supervise periodic stock checks.
* Ensure timely calculation of monthly commissions.
* Ensure timely delivery of completed timesheets to the Group Payroll department.
* Ensure financial computer systems are secure and regularly backed up.
* Prepare annual audit schedules and tax analysis.
* Ensure you/your team comply with all health and safety policies/practices, maintaining a safe and hazard free working environment at all times.
