We’re looking for a caring, proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary SEND school in Lichfield. You’ll be part of a team that delivers a bespoke curriculum, tailored to pupils with a wide range of additional needs, helping every child grow at their own pace.
About the role
Supporting the class teacher in creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment
• Providing 1:1 support to pupils with diverse learning profiles and communication needs
• Leading small-group activities and nurture sessions designed to build confidence and independence
• Gaining valuable experience across a variety of needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to complex learning needs

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
* You have experience working with children with additional or special educational needs
* You’re approachable, patient and able to build positive relationships
* You communicate clearly and respond calmly to behaviour and emotional needs
* You can provide suitable references and are willing to complete an enhanced DBS check
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Experience in SEND setting
