What you will do as Pastry Chef de Partie
Lead the pastry section, ensuring all products are prepared to the highest culinary and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant work environment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Monitor and ensure the quality and consistency of dishes throughout preparation and final plating.
Train and mentor junior staff to uphold kitchen standards and support team development.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new dessert concepts and suggest menu alternatives.
Manage pastry inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and ingredient quality control.
Promote sustainability by minimising food and equipment waste through efficient practices.
Implement and uphold all brand standards, including Touches of Hyatt and Food & Beverage Top 20.
Proven experience in culinary operations, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to oversee and inspire the pastry section. Possess extensive knowledge of pastry techniques and presentation skills.
