Overview
Two full‑time Health Care Support Worker positions are available in the Neuro Rehab Unit at Woodend Hospital, with a separate part‑time role (rotating day and night duty). The unit has 12 beds and focuses on patients with neurological disorders. The role requires a keen interest in rehabilitation, strong communication skills, the ability to plan and prioritise, and commitment to high standards of care.
Responsibilities
* Provide holistic care to patients with neurological conditions.
* Support patient rehabilitation activities and therapeutic programmes.
* Maintain accurate patient records and effectively communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
* Adapt care plans to meet changing service delivery needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working with neurological disorders or challenging behaviours (advantageous).
* Ability to plan, prioritise and adapt work schedule.
* Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
