Executive Assistant to the Managing Director
Location: Cumbria (commutable) – UK & International travel required
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + excellent benefits
Are you an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Are you ready to act as a true extension of a Managing Director, supporting them in driving the business forward?
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to join a thriving business who operate Worldwide but based in the Cumbria area. This is a business-focused role, providing comprehensive support to the Managing
Director across a variety of projects and operations, with the opportunity to travel extensively across the UK and worldwide, they cover Corporate Events, Formula 1, Nuclear & other Motorsport and other exciting industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the right hand to the Managing Director, managing diaries, emails, and priorities with precision.
Coordinating and preparing reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
Organising national and international travel, meetings, and events.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
Acting as a gatekeeper and key liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Requirements:
Proven experience supporting senior executives in a professional, business-focused capacity.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working independently and proactively.
Comfortable with commercials
Comfortable with contracts
Experienced in the latest business trends and ways of working
Use of AI technology to achieve efficient ways of working
Flexibility to travel across the UK and internationally as required.
