Our client is one of biggest financial services in North America.
They are looking for EU Trading operation support Analyst to join the teams in London. Permanent, 3 days in office. Salary is up to £85k or match your expectation + 10-20% bonus and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installing and upgrading software on EU servers in EU data centres
* Evaluate technical issues with connectivity to clients, brokers, venues
* Understanding message protocols for market data feeds and order entry line handlers
* Setting up and maintain local real-time and periodic reports
* Data analysis / SQL based type queries
* Client and venue / broker certification and testing
* QA testing of algos
* Support the Operations/Sales teams
* Maintain real-time market data feed and manage deployments (redline)
* Identify production bugs and create tickets for 3rd line support
* Build and maintain automated/manual portal testing suite
* Create and maintain both client facing and internal technical documentation (Eg. FIX specs, Regulatory specs, Confluence pages, etc)
* Integrate internal systems across regions and maintain system configurations
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience would be considered
* Prior experience in trading or trade support environment
* Knowledge of financial markets and technology
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong computer skills and excellent organisational skills
* 3-5 years’ experience in FIX protocol
* Must be knowledgeable with Windows & Linux OS platforms, command line
* Candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate command in prioritisation and reporting project status
* Self-motivated, able to work and excel autonomously on job responsibilities
* Desire to define and execute new, repeatable business processes
