Overview
King Edward VI School, Lichfield, is seeking two confident and caring Receptionists/First Aiders to join our Student Services Hub. The posts involve providing First Aid support to students and staff and supporting front-of-house administration within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide First Aid support to students and staff and liaise with students, parents, colleagues and external agencies on medical matters.
* Ensure care plans are fully implemented and up to date; maintain electronic accident records and prepare reports as required.
* Operate IT systems in a front-of-house setting and undertake administrative tasks as part of the role.
* Maintain a calm, professional and sensitive approach when dealing with a variety of situations involving students, families and external organisations.
* Work as part of the Student Services Hub, which also supports Attendance, Pastoral Administration and the Learning Hub.
Qualifications & Skills
* Full First Aid Certificate or prior experience in a similar role; willingness to undertake immediate training if required.
* Experience with IT systems and front-of-house administration; ability to handle sensitive information with high accuracy in written communications.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to remain calm in stressful situations, and a flexible approach.
Employment Details
* Hours: 37 hours per week, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
* Location: King Edward VI School, Lichfield.
* Flexible working arrangements may be discussed at interview.
