Kitchen Assistant Location: Chestnut Court, Stanwell, TW19 7SF Salary: £13.45 per hour Contract: Permanent, Part Time (8 hours a week) Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00-14:00 DBS Level: Enhanced We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team at A2Dominion. This is a hands-on role supporting our catering team to deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe and welcoming kitchen environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities * Maintain Health and Safety food regulations * Preparation and service of food, and cleaning of kitchen * Set up of the service area for breakfast lunch and evening meal * Responsible for the cleaning of dining room and kitchen, storerooms and outside storage area * Checking in goods for quality control and packing goods away on delivery * Assisting the chef in daily running of the service * Assisting the Chef Manager with deliveries, stock rotation and removing any out-of-date items. Communicating when products running low More About You * Ability to follow instructions from the Chef Manager and Catering Manager * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Comfortable engaging with elderly, vulnerable customers and their families, in a caring and respectful way * Previous experience working in a kitchen environment desirable, but not essential – full training provided * Confident using computers for online training and basic systems We recognise that transferable skills and experience are just as valuable.
