Business Need / Purpose of Role: Daily management of all aspects of customer orders including cost/risk awareness, internal & external communications, and effective document control.

Objectives:
* Manage the completion of all aspects of assigned special projects (primarily defence and/or nuclear grade) in support of the Company’s overall business plans and strategies.
* Monitor and communicate all project deliverables including hardware, financial and commercial outputs, dispute management, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery.
* Report on project profitability.
* Ensure timely and professional project launches.
* Optimize contract variations and be contractually aware of scope of supply and purchase order content.
* Arrange client kick-off meetings and complete project handover documentation.
* Develop and maintain relationships with other key functions within TFT UK.
* Track and control project milestones against budget.
* Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to reduce risks and maximize future business.
* Manage project finances, ensuring funds are processed according to forecasts.
* Coordinate project documentation for close-outs.
* Manage contract completion to maximize cash flow and minimize financial penalties, maintaining customer relationships.
* Act as the main point of contact for all project communication.
* Coordinate project inspection activities.
* Support initiatives promoting safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure all work complies with H&S rules and TFT safety systems.
Measurements:
* Zero LTI for the full year ( 90%, Aftermarket > 95%.
* Overdues: OEM <£400k ($500k).
* Adhere to milestone invoicing to ensure 90% of profit is converted to cash within 12 months.
Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications
The following are the requirements to perform the job successfully:
* HNC / Degree in Engineering or Business/Project Management, or at least two years’ experience in project or customer management.
* Effective communication skills at all business levels.
* Excellent reasoning, communication, and influencing skills.
* Proficiency in Word and Excel; SAP knowledge is preferable.
* Willingness to work in extended teams and represent the function with stakeholders.
* Office environment; willingness to travel within the UK and overseas as needed.
