About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting an Executive Assistant. This is a key role supporting two of WWF-UK’s Executive Directors. Working at the heart of the organisation, you will help enable senior leaders to operate at their best.
You’ll manage the day-to-day flow of priorities, provide proactive support, and ensure time, information and decisions are handled effectively in a fast-moving environment.
This is much more than diary and logistics management. You will play an active role in supporting the delivery of departmental priorities, coordinating across teams, and helping to keep work moving forward at pace. You’ll build strong relationships across WWF-UK, the wider WWF Network and with external partners, acting as a trusted and reliable point of contact.
You’ll be comfortable working in an environment where priorities can shift, while staying organised, focused and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
You will also work closely with the wider Executive Assistant team, providing support across the group during busy periods and ensuring a consistent and collaborative approach.
This role is based at our headquarters in Woking and requires flexibility, sound judgement and the ability to stay organised and focused when managing competing priorities.
Skills and experience
You’ll bring the following skills and experience to succeed in this role:
Essential
1. Experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting senior leaders
2. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
3. Proven ability to manage complex diaries, logistics and competing priorities
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
5. Ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
6. High levels of discretion, tact and professionalism
7. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
8. Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
9. Confident using Microsoft Office and other digital tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Desirable
10. Experience supporting multiple senior stakeholders or working in a complex organisational environment
11. Experience coordinating events, meetings or projects
12. Experience of financial administration, including budgets, expenses or processing
13. Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint or similar platforms
14. Experience of minute taking and preparing high-quality documentation
15. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong sense of ownership

This is a UK based contract, and you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer sponsorship and any offer of employment will be subject to evidence of your Right to Work in the UK.
This role is hybrid with a minimum 40% of your contracted hours spent at our beautiful UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey, where you’ll hot desk among trees and gardens.
