About the role
Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)
Gateshead, NE8
£440 – £460 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
September 2025 – July 2026
The School and Role
Vision for Education is seeking to recruit a Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a school in Gateshead (NE8). The successful Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant will be working across a range of year groups on a timetable provided by the school, to provide general and intervention support. The role will be full-time, and could turn permanent for the right candidate. This is a ‘Good’ school where pupils feel supported by staff, and have the tools to learn and make progress.
Requirements
The desired Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
