Barnhurst Lane Lions FC Development Centre are looking for a number of age-group coaches to enhance player's development in conjunction with the Development Centres identity and philosophy.
Barnhurst Lane Lions FC was created in 2021 with the mission to allow all players to access the game we all love regardless of ability.
We have being operating for fantastic 4 years and now opened our very own Development Centre with the aim of competing and winning matches and leagues in the nationally renowned Junior Premier League (JPL).
The Development Centre's aim is to help players develop to the highest level they can, effectively bridging the gap between grassroots football and the professional game.
We are looking to recruit passionate, development focused lead coaches to join our excellent coaching team.
IMMEDIATE START
Paid coaching in Wolverhampton
Level 2 / UEFA B coach ideally, Level 1 would be acceptable with experience
Thursday training, Saturday match
Proven pathway to full time coaching jobs
Training will be on a Thursday night at Our Lady & St Chads, Old Fallings Ln, Wolverhampton WV10 8BL, with games on a Saturday morning in the Junior Premier League
Main Responsibilities and Description of Role:
* To support and implement the coaching philosophy of Development Centre.
* To prepare the players for all training sessions and matches
* Ensure high quality sessions are planned and executed under the Development Centre philosophy.
* To provide the Head of Centre with a session plan on a weekly basis.
* To monitor and provide feedback on the performance and development of all players.
* Perform player review sessions on a regular basis.
* Ensure all qualifications are maintained adhering to FA guidelines.
* Experience/Qualifications/Training
Essential:
Level 2 Coaching Badge (Level 1 would be considered)
Safeguarding and Protecting Children.
Basic First Aid in Sport.
Desirable:
UEFA B Licence.
FA Youth Award.
Sport specific degree at University level.
Required Experience:
1 year previous experience in a football coaching role.
Personal Qualities:
Excellent communication.
Flexible attitude to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
Be well mannered.
Good time-management skills.
To meet required deadlines frequently.
To have a drive for high standards.
Be approachable.
Other Requirements:
DBS Clearance - company will pay for this.

Training Sessions - Pay Scale
FA Level 1 - £15 per hour
FA Level 2 - £20 per hour
FA Level 3 - £25 per hour
FA Level 4 - to be agreed
Matches Pay Scale
Central Venue: £25
Home Matches: £30
Away Matches: £40
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 5 per week
