We are seeking Senior Project Managers with experience in the Energy sector to join us in offices across the UK. You will work on a wide variety of projects across technical disciplines for clients nationwide. Projects may include energy from waste, solar, interconnectors, wind farms, substations, OHL, energy building design, protection systems, LVAC, pump stations, and more.
You will join a growing, collaborative team, delivering innovative and sustainable projects to address industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges. This is an important role in the UK energy transition.
As Project Manager or Senior Project Manager you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects throughout the lifecycle. You will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to a high quality. You will identify and mitigate risks, manage budgets and resources, and lead high-performing project teams with clear communication.
You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
About You
You will ideally hold a degree in a relevant field. APMP qualifications would be an advantage. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is expected.
You will have prior experience in project management within the energy/engineering consultancy sector, with experience in project setup and financial monitoring processes including coordinating with Project Managers for proposals, change orders, status reports, financial updates and forecasting. Experience with NEC contracts is a must.
This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-team environment. You should demonstrate attention to detail, initiative in problem detection and resolution, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task between multiple projects.
