We are seeking experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Machine Operators for our client (based in Walsall ), a leading UK-based technical plastic injection moulder known for innovation and excellence in plastic manufacturing solutions. Our client specializes in: Product design and development CAD & 3D modelling Manufacturing feasibility Design for manufacture Lean manufacturing processes Job Description We are looking for dedicated machine operators to join our client's production facility in Walsall. This role involves operating plastic injection moulding machines, ensuring high-quality production, and performing quality control checks. Key Responsibilities: Participate in a paid 15-minute operational briefing before each shift. Operate plastic injection moulding machines efficiently. Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring proper manufacturing standards. Trim excess plastic using a knife if required. Perform additional duties as assigned beyond machine operation. Requirements Essential: Must be 18 (due to insurance protocols). Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Own transport is required (no reliable public transport available). Must have safety boots and a high-visibility vest (mask optional). Preferred: Previous experience in plastic injection moulding or manufacturing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Information Probation Period: First 3 days (paid work) Temp-to-Perm Opportunity: 3 months through Staff Today -> transfer to client based on performance & attendance. Shifts: Morning & afternoon shifts rotate weekly; night shift is static. Transport: No public transport connection; candidates must have their own transport.
