As a member of Baxter's sales team, you'll be aligned with a global business unit and responsible for new business development, existing account growth, and maintaining a patient-centric approach in all dealings. You'll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In this sales role, you'll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Success Profile: What makes a successful Sales Professional at Baxter? Key traits include stakeholder insight and influence, sales solution identification, negotiation skills, strategic planning, managing and coaching, and ownership of the business. As an Account Manager, you will represent Baxter confidently, leveraging your knowledge of our product portfolio to meet customer needs and build trust with healthcare professionals.

You will be the primary contact for healthcare professionals relying on our products, serving as the face and voice of Baxter solutions. Your insights will help inform team priorities and strategies. You will develop and sell Baxter's range of surgical operating tables, becoming a trusted partner and knowledge resource for these products.


Team and Work Environment

Our team is collaborative and supportive, constantly challenging each other to improve. You will work closely with your team to support the UK product and sales strategy, spending most of your time (around 90%) in hospital environments demonstrating and discussing our operating theatre products. Your role involves supporting surgeons and theatre staff with patient/procedure positioning to achieve sales, and engaging with hospital decision-makers including management, procurement, finance, and medical engineering teams.

The compensation and incentive structures vary, with transparency about expectations and fluctuations. We seek candidates eager for success, market share growth, and continuous development, ideally with theatre sales experience, solution selling skills, and knowledge of UK operating theatre trends.


Candidate Requirements

* Understanding of various operating procedures
* Commercial acumen for large, complex sales with long lead times
* Ability to demonstrate sales of operating tables as part of package deals with colleagues
