Senior PCB Technician – Space Hardware

Ever wanted to work on real space missions but thought you needed space-sector experience to get in? You don't.
We're working with a fast-growing, international space technology company building high-performance electronic systems for satellites used around the world. We're looking for a Senior Electronics Technician to take a hands-on lead role assembling, integrating, and testing advanced electronics that will fly in space.
If you're an experienced electronics technician who's worked on advanced electronic systems, this is a great opportunity if you'd like to transition into the space industry.
What you'll be doing
* Hand-soldering and assembling high-reliability PCBAs (fine-pitch SMT, microscope work)
* Building complex wiring harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies
* Integrating and testing electronic systems end-to-end
* Troubleshooting at component and system level
* Working closely with engineers on cutting-edge space hardware
* Maintaining production and test documentation to high quality standards
* Supporting lab equipment, inventory, and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
* HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electronics or similar
* 5–10+ years hands-on electronics assembly, test, and fault-finding experience
* Strong soldering skills (SMT & through-hole)
* Experience with embedded electronics and production test environments
* Comfortable working to detailed drawings, procedures, and quality standards
* Space experience not required – training provided
Bonus (not essential)
* IPC Class 3
* Cleanroom or high-reliability manufacturing experience
