Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 Per day Job Description: Job Duties: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment. Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and behaviour. Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong classroom management skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field. Experience: Prior experience teaching in a classroom setting. Experience working with students of varying abilities. Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of the UK National Curriculum. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Proficient in using technology in the classroom. Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent. Additional training in special education or specific subject areas. Working Conditions: Work in various schools within the Altrincham area. Full-time hours with occasional requirement for additional hours.
