Angus Wines Limited is looking for staff for our new flagship retail wine store / bar in the centre of Aberdeen. Our store will have one of the widest, most interesting, selections of wines in the North-East of Scotland, with the option of retail, consumption on site, tastings and have an e-commerce side with deliveries.
Key responsibilities include:
* Customer service,
* For managers staff supervision and training,
* Sales and Marketing,
* Inventory management,
* Operational efficiency,
* Event coordination and Promotion, and
* E-Commerce and distribution management.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Previous experience in a retail/hospitality environment, ideally with wines and spirits would be great, but a knowledge of the subject and someone with the personality and enthusiasm to learn will be seriously considered.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and build rapport.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions, inventory management, and product displays.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A wine or spirits qualification would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
* Knowledge of EPOS and stock management systems is an advantage.
