Anderson Knight is recruiting a Legal PA for a well-established law firm in Edinburgh. We are looking for someone who has experience within the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft correspondence, documents, and presentations using Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, and dictation software.
• Manage client and matter openings and closings, liaising with Finance and AML teams, conducting conflict checks, and producing engagement letters.
• Organise and manage diaries, appointments, and meetings, including room bookings, catering, and IT support.
• Oversee email accounts, including partner and fee earner inboxes, and manage email storage and file systems.
• Support in team meetings, taking notes, and tracking action items.
• Arrange travel, hotel accommodations, and manage expense claims.
• Update and maintain client contact information and marketing databases.
• Handle filing, scanning, photocopying, and other ad hoc admin tasks.
• Collaborate with internal support teams (e.g., Finance, IT, Facilities, Marketing).
• Provide backup support to the wider PA group as needed.
Essential:
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous PA or executive assistant experience.
Desirable:
• Experience within the legal sector.
Skills & Experience:
• Knowledge of legal processes and terminology, with a willingness to seek assistance when needed.
• Proactive and solution-oriented with a focus on meeting client needs.
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines effectively within a team.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
