SIAS has an exciting opportunity for a Product Development Manager to develop qualifications, product assessment materials, and related resources that meet regulatory, organisational, and stakeholder requirements. The role also involves contributing to scheduled product lifecycle reviews and managing the existing qualifications and assessment portfolio.
The role supports other teams with advice and guidance related to product development and other processes managed by the product team.
Remuneration Package
* Salary between £37,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience

Key Accountabilities
* Develop and maintain SIAS qualifications, assessment, and accreditation products in line with regulatory, organisational, and quality requirements.
* Manage qualification and assessment development projects, collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to meet milestones and deadlines.
* Ensure product developments are on track for launch, keeping internal stakeholders informed of timelines.
* Complete compliant development processes according to internal policies and procedures.
* Maintain and improve the qualifications and assessment development process, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Support and conduct reviews of qualifications and assessments, managing the withdrawal process for retired products.
* Manage associates/developers involved in qualification and assessment development to ensure timely project delivery.
* Identify and communicate with specialists supporting qualification development and review.
* Research and pursue new development opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
* Keep accurate records of development activities.
* Produce and review specifications and related documents in compliance with requirements.
* Liaise with other departments to facilitate development information sharing.
* Represent SIAS at sector and Awarding Organisation forums as needed.
* Contribute to marketing, customer relations, and business development strategies by providing technical guidance.
* Stay updated on regulator policies and initiatives.
* Develop understanding of the wider qualifications landscape.
* Respond to queries regarding qualifications, assessments, and accreditation products.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of SIAS products and services.
* Manage data input and monitoring.
* Assist in maintaining team Standard Operating Procedures.
* Support employer and provider queries related to qualifications, assessments, and accreditation.
* Assist the wider product team with decision-making on related processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
* Degree educated.
* Experience in a similar role within an Awarding Organisation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong project management skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise tasks.
* Highly organised and efficient.
* Confidence in owning processes and managing time to meet deadlines.
* Prepared to work in a regulated environment with compliance requirements.
