DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and warehouse procedures, including storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse operations and staffing, supporting the Site Manager in achieving KPIs and budget objectives.
* Ensure all customer requirements are met and operational performance meets company and customer expectations.
* Analyze health and safety risks, implement actions to reduce or eliminate risks, and promote a Safety First Culture.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives in line with H&S guidelines and site procedures.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in FMCG Warehouse Operations Management.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
* Experience in change management and continuous improvement processes.
* People management skills, including conducting performance reviews and handling grievances.
