Job Title Customer Delivery Driver Location Home Shopping - Nottingham Employment Type Part time Contract Type Permanent Shift Pattern Work Shift: Nights Hours per Week 30 Pay Rate £15.14 Category Retail Hourly Colleagues, Sales Staff Closing Date 16 February 2026 About the Role Key Responsibilities Perform tyre checks and adjust pressures as needed Complete damage reports and defect logs Refuel vehicles and park them in designated areas Top up screen wash, hand sanitizer, and AdBlue Maintain stock levels of screen wash, AdBlue, and light bulbs Carry out daily legal roadworthiness checks on ASDA’s custom Mercedes Sprinter vans Prepare vehicles for drivers, repairs, and washing Keep accurate records in a handover book Communicate effectively with management, section leaders, and out-of-hours fleet management services What We’re Looking For Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette Good level of physical fitness (role involves being on your feet most of the night and working outdoors in all weather conditions) Ability to work well in a team environment Attention to detail and reliability Why Join Us? When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders. About You When you are on the road, you will need to be organised and as you we will expect you to be an excellent ambassador for the Asda brand.
